I just got news from DOA (Den of Angels, A ball joint doll community) that several display dolls were stolen overnight from a NY dolpa Casing. Six were said to be missing at first, but the number jumped to seven. All the dolls were specially made as well as signed by the artist rather than given a logo design for the head cap. Supposedly the dolls were going to be given to the make a wish foundation for seven very lucky children at the end of the Dolpa event by Mr. Shigeta.

Those who peruse Ebay, or any other auction site, go on DOA for buying dolls, those who go on DOA to peruse, or anyone else that can help in this matter, PLEASE, keep an eye out for the dolls.

Mr. Shigeta also pointed out that the person responsible would not be accused if they dolls are brought back safely.
